Pave Me

Nostalgic. Vulnerable. Powerful. Groovy. Melodic. Retro.
The idea behind Pave Me is to sonically portrait the contrast between the feeling of an overload and its resulting urge to pave due to the fast-paced modern world, expressed via the energetic sonics around the vocal and the drops/climax.
Although stuttered synths are at the forefront of modern deep house sound design due to its energetic sonics, I used this sound technique as the 'negative' imperative of the hectic world where the vocals (representing the vulnerable - up to helpless - human) nearly drown in.

CARE

Triumphant. Raw. Uplifting. Melodic. Confident.
CARE incorporates an uplifting UK deep house vibe and rounds it off with a catchy organic topline, lots of modern trance-inspired elements, and a tremendously feel-good/dance heavy climax.

The main synth is made by routing the synth through an old guitar amp to give it additional flavor and crunch, a technique my audience loves me to use within my art. Imagine the crowd on an open air festival going crazy in the trance-influenced break (starting at 2:12 Min) while the intimate yet uplifting vocals lead to the heavy 2nd drop.

The sound of CARE is fresh and alternative while incorporating the carefree attitude of rock/pop and the rave energy of UK Deep House.
